17 Years Behind the Line: Why We Finally Bottled the Olive Oil That Built Glory Bound
After 17 years using the same cold pressed olive oil in our gyro kitchens, Glory Bound is bottling it. Here's... Read more
Glory Bound has catered Mississippi and Alabama offices, weddings, tailgates, church groups, graduations, and game days since 2009. The same gyros, the same hummus made from scratch every week, and the same California olive oil we use on the line every day — packed to travel and set up to serve.
We cater from all three restaurants: Hattiesburg, Tuscaloosa, and Ocean Springs. Order directly from the location nearest your event and you deal with that kitchen, that manager, and that phone number. No third-party middleman, no marked-up menu.

Our catering is built around the same menu we serve in the dining room, portioned for groups. Most orders come down to gyro bars, party trays, and hummus platters, and most of them travel well enough to set up in a conference room, a fellowship hall, or the back of a tailgate.
| Format | Best for | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Gyro bar | Offices, teams, graduations | Gyro meat, warm pita, tzatziki, feta, onion, tomato, and lettuce set out so guests build their own |
| Party trays | Meetings, receptions, showers | Trays of gyro meat, grilled chicken, Greek salad, Greek pasta salad, and grilled vegetables |
| Hummus platters | Appetizer spreads, open houses | Scratch-made hummus with pita and vegetables. Pick from the eight flavors we make weekly |
| Game day and tailgate | Alabama home games, Southern Miss weekends | Travel-packed trays sized for a crowd, ready for pickup before kickoff |
| Boxed lunches | Training days, conferences, work sites | Individually packed gyros or wraps with sides |
Every hummus we serve starts from dry chickpeas in our own kitchen, and olive oil goes into the base batch that every flavor is built on. We make eight: Original, Chipotle Lime, Garlic-Basil, Jalapeño-Cilantro, Mediterranean Olive, Roasted Red Pepper, Spicy Cajun, and Spinach-Pesto. If you want to know how that program came together, including the flavors that did not survive, we wrote about it in Confessions of a Hummus Guru.
Greek and Mediterranean food is unusually good at feeding mixed groups. Hummus, falafel, Greek salad, grilled vegetables, and rice give you substantial vegetarian and vegan options without building a separate menu, and most of the plates can be served without pita for guests avoiding gluten. Tell us what your group needs when you order and we will put the tray together around it.
Call the location nearest your event, or start an order online using the buttons above. For most orders we ask for at least twenty-four hours’ notice. Large events, game days, and holiday weeks book up early, so the sooner you call the better, particularly in Tuscaloosa during football season.
Twenty-four hours is the general minimum for standard trays. Larger events and anything during a home game weekend should be booked further out.
Delivery depends on the location and the size of the order. Call the restaurant nearest you and ask — the manager on the phone can tell you what is possible that week.
It varies by format and by whether the tray is the main dish or part of a spread. Tell us your headcount when you call and we will size the order rather than have you guess.
Usually, yes. Vegetarian and vegan spreads are straightforward for us, and we can build around gluten avoidance. Let us know when you order.
We do. We have catered weddings, rehearsal dinners, church events, corporate meetings, and campus functions across South Mississippi and West Alabama since 2009.
Feeding a crowd, then cooking at home. The cold-pressed California olive oil we use in all three kitchens is bottled and available to take home — it also makes a straightforward client or host gift. See the gift sets or shop all olive oil.
